ITINERARY

DAY 1

AUCKLAND
Meeting at the airport to take the flight to Auckland. Overnight on board

DAY 2

AUCKLAND
Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 3

AUCKLAND
Breakfast. Visit to the West Coast in the Muriwai Regional Park with its black sand beaches. Continuation to the new city center with the visit of the Auckland Viaduct and the Auckland Tower. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4

AUCKLAND – MATAMATA – ROTORUA
Breakfast. Departure on a magical journey through Middle earth, to the “Hobbit Shire. We will cross the green rolling meadows approaching the Shire of Hobbiton. Afternoon arrival in Rotorua and visit of Te Puia (formerly Whakarewarewa). Afterwards, typical Maori cultural dinner. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5

ROTORUA – CHRISTCHURCH
Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the Waimangu thermal reserve. Transfer to Rotorua airport to take the flight (included) to Christchurch. Arrival and lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation

DAY 6

CHRISTCHURCH – WANAKA
Breakfast. Morning departure to visit Lake Tekapo. There will be the opportunity to take a scenic flight (optional) around Lake Tekapo. Continuation to Wanaka. Overnight.

DAY 7

WANAKA – QUEENSTOWN
Breakfast and free morning. At noon, departure from Wanaka to Queenstown. Arrival and brief tour of the town center including the skyline cable car ride to the top of Bob’s Peak to enjoy the views. Overnight.

DAY 8

QUEENSTOWN – MILFORD SOUND – QUEENSTOWN
Breakfast. Full day excursion to Milford Sound (Subject to weather conditions), traveling through the Fjords National Park. This will be booked on arrival as it is subject to weather conditions. Arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 9

QUEENSTOWN
Breakfast. Free day for optional activities. Overnight.

DAY 10

QUEENSTOWN
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for departure to the city of origin.
